OldSchoolers,Truth be told it has been a difficult week for us, we have had 3x meetings with our staff to explore the options, considering all the ideas and suggestions to check them and take the right decision based on all this information, we are aware that our decision won't defiantly make the 100% of our community happy, but we believe that our decision is based in our main goal which is give them the best experience playing this server no matter what. Because of this goal we are not sleeping, neither eating well, mers has discussed with his girlfriend 3 times, i decide to stay in my office instead going home to not distract myself, also futaba and tomcat are having such a difficult times.
In my opinion, I believe the end of the world will arrive when the end of your life arrives, when you die, each person is a world apart and his faith are commanded by his actions, that's why I believe that things like Maya's predictions aren't true at all, that's why and together with our decision I dare to say the following:
Stay with us, your support give us strength to keep ahead, the DDoS attacks we have experienced could be compared with the attacks that USKO received back on the days wen they released new servers and even with that because your support and loyalty we stood stand fighting, it has been hard to decide the wipe so all we ask is your support.
Guys, you know this decision has nothing to do with money, have you seen all the new stuff and unique for server so far? have you seen in all this time we supported sites like LOVE146 with donations? This has been possible thanks to your donations, we have always followed the right path, totally away from corruption, the best road to follow is usually the hardest one, so in all these 2 years we have built credibility and we are known as a stable server when people can trust in the staff who are in charge of the server, you believe in our work and we respect you all.
We have read all your suggestions, many of them will be applied for the wipe and we really appreciate all your feedback because it is helping to build a better begin for Kronos again.
-All the people who actually donated will get refunded back their KC in their accounts, so you will be able to spend
all your KC when we release Kronos again.
-The drop rates of the high class items and uniques will be more difficult
-Upgrade rates harder
-Experience more difficult
-Level requirement to do KNIGHT quest 58+
-Many bugs reported will be fixed
-There will be Ardream in Kronos 2
-Due to the highest amount of people Kronos 2 will have events such as BDW, Bifrost, Wars, etc.
-We will add BUS to certain mobs like Uruks family, Blood seekers.
-We will start on level 62 cap, a week after level 65 cap will be open to bring balance.*We cant open master quest at the beginning of server because the most organized and people (i don't blame them for that, anyway) will obtain a great advantage over the people less organized so in that way so many people would get frustrated and result of this: quit server
The most important part is that you all guys play in a server which means opportunities for everyone in terms on farm, level, get dragon symbol, the same opportunity to get items, etc. Is not funny that the weaker only watch how the strong people become stronger, it is not the idea of family in OldSchoolKO.
*As more information, I would like you see some statistics from people who did experience at Kronos:
From the 4000 accounts that were created for Kronos, only 600 users could reach level 62 (very active accounts)
then 1500 accounts have levels between 51 - 61 (these users play time to time)
then 1900 accounts have levels between 1 - 50 (95% of them already quit the game)
In conclusion, with all this easy exp rates around only the 15% of people could reach level 62 (doing exp quest or with out them) the point is, even tho having all the exp easy the other 85% of the users couldn't reach level 62, so think about it.Thank you very much for all your time waiting for this decision and our apologies for the delay but please understand it has been one of the most difficult decisions we have taken, all these days left before the official launch I hope everyone could help us to test the server with the new rates and see how it is going, we will appreciate it!
